Masterclass: Uillean Pipes with Fiachra Meek, Saturday, Oct 19, 2024 3:00PM

 

This master class will focus on building repertoire and developing technique. Students will focus on approaching tunes within the repertoire and accompaniment using the regulators (chords) on the uilleann pipes.

 

This will be aimed at intermediate to advanced musicians, with at least two years of experience, specifically on the chanter. Players with all particular sets (practice-full set) are welcome once the sets are concert pitch uilleann pipes.

 

This masterclass is offered as part of a residency with Alfi, the Dublin-based trio who will perform at Oíche Shamhna / An Irish Halloween and in IAC's Café Concert Series.
